Greek to the core, Metaxa 7 Stars isn't quite brandy and isn't quite anything else. It's a Greek spirit built from wine distillates aged at least seven years in Limousin oak, then blended with sweet Muscat wine from the island of Samos and an infusion of Mediterranean herbs and rose petals. Expect amber-copper color, ripe peach and prune on the nose, and mature fruit, toffee and warm spice across the palate. Pour it neat, over ice, or stir it into a cocktail. 40% ABV.
