Amaro Meletti has been made in Ascoli Piceno, on Italy's Adriatic coast, since 1870, evolved from even older family recipes. The infusion blends anise, gentian, orange peel, clove, and saffron sourced from the nearby Sibillini mountains, giving it an amber color, a floral-fruity lift, and a lingering caramelized-sugar finish. At 32% ABV it's built as a proper digestivo: sip it neat or over ice after dinner, or stir a splash into coffee the way it's done back home.
