Overview

More Info

A collector's crossover for whiskey fans and motorsport fans alike: this is Jack Daniel's Old No. 7 Tennessee Whiskey, dressed in a 2023 limited-edition bottle marking Jack Daniel's partnership with McLaren Racing's Formula 1 team. Distilled in Lynchburg, Tennessee from the brand's classic mash bill and mellowed drop by drop through ten feet of sugar maple charcoal before oak aging, it pours smooth with caramel, vanilla, and toasted oak on the nose and palate. Sip neat to appreciate the craft, or pour over one large cube for race-day gatherings.

Tasting notes

The nose reveals a symphony of aromas, combining notes of caramel, oak, and a hint of sweetness, enticing the senses and inviting you to explore further.

On the palate, layers of flavor unfold. Delicate hints of vanilla intertwine with the robust character of sour mash, while whispers of toasted oak add depth and complexity. The whiskey dances on the tongue, delivering a smooth and velvety texture that caresses the palate.

As the last sip is savored, the finish lingers with an unparalleled smoothness.

Actually not "too good to be true - reputable, and customer friendly!

"At 58 years old, and having grown up in the tech industry (I was dealing with punch cards at 8 years old), I know the old adage. "If it's too good to be true, it probably is", and I usually stand by that. So when I say that Tipxy had the Jack Daniel's McClaren bottle, at a retail price, AND shipped to VA - along with a $10 discount, well, I thought I'd give it a try. Not only was it a legitimate sale, they were extremely quick to respond when I emailed with a question - and more than once! The bottle was EXACTLY what I ordered, and arrived packed fantastically (in fact, my wife and I had to cut the bubble wrap in order to remove it - and it still took two of us!). My only issue - if you could call it that - was extremely slow "handling/shipping". However, that could have been attributed to the recent floods in California where the TIPXY warehouse is located. If I am ever looking for another special bottle that I can't get locally, I am more than willing to give TIPXY a go again."
