Maestro Dobel's 1968 is an extra anejo tequila built for slow sipping. Made from 100% blue agave grown on a single family estate in the volcanic lowlands of Tequila, Jalisco, it rests at least eight years in American oak before a final stretch in French Armagnac casks. That patience shows in the amber pour and layered notes of honey, caramel, vanilla, dried fruit and walnut, closing smooth with a gently bitter edge. At 40% ABV, pour it neat in a snifter for milestone moments.
