Named for the new moon over Jalisco's highlands, this reposado comes from an 18th-generation tequila family that skips added sugars, colors, and flavorings entirely. A blend of highland and lowland blue agave rests in American oak bourbon barrels, picking up vanilla, apricot, and butterscotch on the nose before opening into toasted oak, orange zest, and a whisper of chocolate and clove. The finish runs long and gently spicy. Pour it neat in a copita, or alongside a really good añejo flight.
