Roederer's rosé prestige cuvée, and the winemaking behind it is genuinely fascinating. Instead of blending in red wine, the team "infuses" Chardonnay juice right into the macerating Pinot Noir so the grapes ferment together, drawing out ripe fruit while keeping everything fresh. Roughly 55% Pinot Noir from Aÿ and 45% Chardonnay from Avize and Le Mesnil, part aged in oak. Expect blood orange, rose petal, and raspberry with a saline finish.
