Overview

A joven with an unusual backstory: Lobos 1707 blends aged 100% Blue Weber Agave blanco with a touch of reposado, then finishes it in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks using a solera system — a nod to founder Diego Osorio's family history of shipping tequila to Spain in sherry barrels back in 1707. Made in the Arandas highlands of Jalisco, it pours pale gold with bright herbal, floral, and fresh melon notes, plus a whisper of bell pepper and marcona almond. Sip it neat or shake it into a margarita.

★ ★ ★ ☆ ☆ 3/5 AI Rating

Lobos 1707 Joven is the entry point into the brand's range, blending blanco and reposado tequilas for a smooth, versatile profile with a good balance of fresh agave and subtle wood notes. Drinkers find it approachable and easy to enjoy neat or in cocktails, appreciating that it's a solid product behind the well-known celebrity brand story. It's a decent, crowd-pleasing tequila that introduces the Lobos house style without breaking the bank.
