Le Chemin du Roi Brut Rosé is a Champagne blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier grown in Montagne de Reims, produced by Champagne Castelnau under the Le Chemin du Roi label. Only first-press juice goes into the blend, then it rests on its lees for more than four years before a low 8 g/l dosage sharpens the finish. It pours pale salmon-pink, with black cherry, white peach, and a touch of toasted almond on the nose. Serve chilled alongside pork, lamb, or a red-sauce pasta.
