In Saint-Hilaire-Saint-Florent, just outside Saumur, Langlois-Château has been coaxing bubbles out of Loire chalk cellars for over 130 years, with Chenin Blanc leading a blend rounded out by Chardonnay and Cabernet Franc. Made in the traditional method with time on the lees, it pours pale gold with citrus and green apple notes, a fine persistent mousse, and a crisp, rounded finish. Pour it chilled around 6-8°C as an easy substitute for your everyday Champagne pour, from apéritif hour through the meal.
