Raicilla from San Juan Espanatica, in Tuxpan at the southern end of Jalisco, distilled by tabernero Arturo Campos for chef Esteban Morales's La Venenosa project. Cultivated Cenizo agave roasted in a black-oak-fired pit oven, then run twice through a clay pot still. Bottled joven, unrested.
