Overview

More Info

This one's a slow build: Tepextate agave, wild-harvested at 25 to 30 years old in Oaxaca's Santa Ana del Río, carries decades of flavor most mezcal never gets close to. Maestro Mezcalero Honorato Cruz mills it by stone tahona, ferments with spring water, and double-distills in a small copper pot — the kind of hands-on process that yields floral, herbal notes over a bright, citric finish. Sip it slow and neat to let that complexity unfold.
