The vineyard’s flagship wine precisely expresses the winemaker’s philosophy and the exceptional terroir of the Sde Kalev vineyard. It has a deep, rich, almost black Bourdeaux colour. The wine enjoys a rich intense aroma of black forest berries and dark Belgian chocolate alongside fresh green peppercorns, rosemary, violets and lavender blossom. Every sip delivers another gentle caress that slowly reveals additional strata hidden in the wine.Yaar Levanon 2018 is produced entirely from the first press and free run of grapes sourced solely in the single vineyard grown Cabernet Sauvignon grapes from the Sde Kalev Vineyard, located in the high central mountains and the Judean desert at an altitude of 900 meters. The grapes are selectively harvested entirely by hand. The wine is aged for 24 months in French and American oak barrels without filtration.
