An extra anejo that leans all the way into its long rest. La Adelita ages its agave spirit an average of four years in second-use American oak whiskey barrels, re-toasted in Mexico to a medium char, and bottles it without additives. It pours amber-gold, opening with the brand's noted honeyed heather, marzipan, and apricot nectar before easing into sweet milk chocolate and white-peppered orange blossom for a Cognac-like sip. At 40% ABV, it's one to pour neat in a snifter and savor slowly after dinner.
