Hawaii's Kuleana Rum Works built Hokulei — "garland of stars" — by blending seven rums aged from 18 months to 18 years, drawing molasses spirits from Panama, Nicaragua, Barbados, Venezuela and Trinidad alongside their own Hawaiian sugarcane agricole rested in ex-Cognac barrels. Bottled at 46% ABV, it layers ripe banana and saltwater taffy over toasted pineapple, clove, vanilla, Medjool dates and toasted oak.
