Meet Kujira Ryukyu Inari, a single grain Japanese whisky distilled from 100% Indica rice at Okinawa's Masahiro Distillery, working since 1883 in Japan's only tropical whisky home. Black koji unique to Okinawa drives the fermentation, and the master blender hand-picks barrels across different maturation periods. Expect a nose of apple, pear and tropical fruit with a whisper of spice, then a palate of gentle oak, figs, nuts and butterscotch, closing sweet and long. Pour it neat or over one big cube.
