More Info

Our master distillers carefully select each barrel by hand—less than one percent are chosen for Jim Beam® Single Barrel—ensuring the highest quality and craft. No two barrels are the same, and each is individually bottled, labeled and hand-numbered so that its heritage is unquestionable. Every glass is full-bodied and smooth with attributes of oak, vanilla and caramel. Sip it neat or savor it on the rocks. After all, it’s some of the very best bourbon our family has ever produced.

Tasting notes

What people across the internet are saying
★ ★ ★ ★ ☆ 4/5 AI Rating

Whisky Advocate praises Jim Beam Single Barrel for more oak, depth, and maturity than the white label, with caramel, mint, and cinnamon spice. UPROXX calls it a damn fine bourbon at an accessible price for single barrels. Some find it hot and raw, but mostly well-reviewed at 108 proof.

A far better whiskey was offered when it was 95 proof.

"In my perspective, it's a little expensive for what it is. It's a regular bottle of bourbon and by no means a bad pour. Simply put, I think there are better overall options for my palette and taste buds in this pricing bracket. I would choose the more affordable Old Grand-Dad 114 over the slightly more expensive Wild Turkey Rare Breed 116. 8. 2. 8 out of 5 (I'm not leaving any tasting notes because taste is a personal thing)"

Excellent whiskey from JB

"Jim Beam has been quietly selling high-quality bourbon at working-class costs. Jim Beam distillers cut, single barrel 108, and Jim Beam black are some variations. This substance is smooth and creamy. It has an explosion of flavor and tastes like Jim Beam Black on steroids. There isn't a finer bottle that you can get every day for 38 dollars (maybe russel 10 year maybe). The bottle will not make you regret it. Buy it"

I'm delighted by JIM BEAM SINGLE BARREL 108 PROOF.

"Honestly, I was completely blown away with the neck pour, from the first bottle that I purchased. I wasn't expecting much, just curious and figured that I'd give it a try. It was very refreshing to discover a bottle at the sub-$40 range with the punch of Knob Creek and the dusty corn flavor that you come to love from all Jim Beam products. JB108 is so fantastic that I immediately contacted my bourbon-drinking pals to let them know about it. The bourbon's age is just right—neither it's too young nor too old. It offers a comforting Kentucky hug, lots of flavor, and a little spice. You won't be let down."

The wonderful Jim Beam Single Barre 108 Proof.

"I took a risk on this and discovered it to be a terrific everyday drinker for folks who enjoy a higher proof at a reasonable price. Definitely worth a shot."

MANAGE A TROIS IN SINGLES, DOUBLES, AND QUADRUPLES

"This is my second favorite wine after Woodford Double Oaked, but gosh, it's close."

Jenelyn (5/5)

Fairly Priced and Very Smooth

"Very convenient and reasonably priced. I was successful for the situation."

Samuel A. (5/5)

Pretty Bottle

"Especially smooth considering the high proof."

An orange peel

"In terms of aggressiveness and smoothness, it is fairly thin."
