Jannamico Lemoncello is a lemon liqueur from the Michele Jannamico distillery, family-run in Abruzzo since 1888. The peel is hand-cut, lemon by lemon, from fruit grown in the gardens of Gargano and the Isle of Ischia, then steeped in alcohol to pull out pure citrus oil before it's sweetened. The result pours pale gold with a bright, zesty nose and a finish that's tart more than syrupy. Serve it icy-cold as a digestivo, or splash it over tonic for a lemon-forward spritz.
