High N' Wicked's eighth Singular Limited Release sends a 15-year Tennessee straight bourbon through an extra year in ex-Madeira casks before bottling at barrel proof. Distilled from a corn-heavy 84/8/8 mash, it picks up dark fruit, black currant, and cocoa on the palate, with baking spice and cinnamon lingering into the finish. Only 5,400 bottles were made. Pour it neat in a wide glass to let the Madeira-driven fruit and spice unfold.
Tasting notes
Aroma: Black Cherries, Dark Chocolate, Pipe Tobacco, Maduro Cigar Wrapper, and leather. A subtle nutty note at the backend.
Palate: Complex, Rich and Full. Figs, plums, and stone fruits followed by dark chocolate and red fruits. Finishes long and full on the palate.
