Overview

More Info

Herradura's Añejo helped define the añejo category itself, first released back in 1962. Made from 100% blue weber agave and rested 24 to 25 months in American white oak — well beyond the one-year añejo minimum — it pours a deep copper hue. Expect layers of toasted agave, caramel, vanilla, and warm baking spice, closing with a whisper of black pepper. Sip it slow, neat or over a single large cube, alongside dark chocolate or slow-smoked brisket.

The cost is truly just reasonable.

"This woman adores tequila! Anejo of any brand is difficult to find, much like so many other things. I acquired some when traveling to Atlanta to see my brother and his wonderful wife. I have high standards for my tequila. It cannot taste artificial or sweet. Their Anejo has a robust, silky flavor and a musky aroma. I like it blended with one lime and salt on the rim, or with a big chunk of ice. The cost is reasonable."

The Price Is Right For Herradura Anejo

"I have to admit that I really enjoy Herradura's Anejo tequila. It has a deep flavor and I enjoy the smokey/oak flavour. Herradura Resposado does not appeal to me as much as their Anejo does. It ranks just behind Don Julio Anejo in my opinion."

— Hunt (5/5)

I'm referring to this!

"This tequila is excellent for preparing for a night out. It's smooth enough so you can take a few shots on your way out and strong enough to not be unpleasant. This tequila really amazed me, however use caution as this shot is potent. but scrumptious"

— Kemp (5/5)

Put on your smoking jacket, relax, and have a snifter of this while sitting back at your desk.

"The distinctive surprise hidden behind the horseshoe label is hinted at by the attractive packaging and the sculptured bottle. The silky smooth palate entry is preceded by a fresh agave fragrance, which is followed by a moderate warmth that gradually grows on the tongue and displays flashes of vanilla, oak, and cracked black pepper. The medium-length, calming finish has a transcending quality that makes people want to indulge right away. With a simple, dignified elegance and grace that shouldn't be tarnished by anything other than a light-bodied cigar like an Upmann, Macanudo, Partagas, or Fonseca, this tequila stands on its own. Salud!"

— Ward (4/5)

It has a clear flavor

"It has a fairly neutral flavor and blends well with margaritas and palomas. I usually prefer 1800 or Don Julio anejos, but I gave this one a try after trying it at a restaurant. I was not let down."

— Singh V. (5/5)

The packaging was first-rate.

"Super smooth tequilita if you love tequila and are looking for a couple drinks with friends or by yourself, look no further. excellent packing."

— Mayer (5/5)

Such a lovely tequila.

"I really appreciate this tequila since it goes down smoothly and isn't overpowering. You can definitely see better with it."

— Carlson (4/5)

Highest on the charts

"Superior than any tequila available. worked three years for a company that sold alcohol. They have a fascinating history."

— Cain (5/5)

It's a fantastic pleasure!

"The Herradura anejo is a delightful treat, and getting it delivered was delightful as well!"

— Whitaker (5/5)

MAGNIFICENT TEQUILA!

"The finest tequila I've ever tasted is Herradura Anejo—I mean, THE finest."

— Harrison (5/5)
