Like the forests along Okinawa’s shores, Hayashi 24 is an expression of the land it comes from. Crafted with indica rice and bourbon casks, Hayashi transforms a 500-year-old awamori tradition into a radiant 24-year-old whisky.
Tasting notes
A delightful bouquet of apricot, vanilla and caramel greets the nose and is mingled with a sweet nose of maraschino cherries. The entry flavor has distinct oaky wood notes, moving to the mid palate, sweeter seasonings of maple sugar and pear skin come forth.
