Overview

Every bottle of Havana Club starts with the finest sugar cane molasses. The rum rests one to three years in oak barrels as the Caribbean weather of Puerto Rico works its magic. We then employ a double aging process, creating a deep and mellow taste with a velvet finish.

Amazing aged rum mixes well with cigars

"Like several cigars of the same name produced both inside and outside of Cuba, the Havana Club Aejo Clásico (80 proof) is a relaunched brand made in Puerto Rico using a family recipe from a nationalized distillery. After combining, the rum undergoes a second age to create a harmonious blend of spicy spice and maple. simply outstanding"

— Millie B. (5/5)

Wonderful rum! I'm very happy to have it here in the US.

"Overseas fell in love with Havana Club. I always put buying Havana Club 7 at the top of my list for whatever trip we took abroad. I looked around and found it here at Tipxy. After Castro took power in Cuba, the owners of this recipe fled the country. (The State recently seized the business. ) Fans of Havana Club will adore this version despite the fact that it hasn't aged as long as the Castros' original from Jamaica did."

— Sloane (5/5)

The ACTUAL Havana Club is Amazingly Incredible

"I wanted to try this rum after attending the AMPARO theatrical production in Miami. Now that I am aware that I am consuming the authentic original formula from the family who started the Havana Club rum in Cuba and had it stolen during the revolution, I can drink with confidence. I fully endorse this rum. It complements aged rum recipes so well. It is also double-aged, which accounts for how smooth it tastes. That is an excellent purchase at this pricing. The "Nightcap from Nowhere," which contains 2 parts Havana Club Clasico, 0. 75 parts Martini Rossi Sweet Vermouth, 0. 50 parts Amaro Averna, and 2 dashes of orange bitters, is my favorite. You ought to try it."

— Kiera D. (5/5)

This cocktail is great on the rocks.

"The Archebela family created the first version of this Havana Club. Prior to their expulsion by the Castro dictatorship. Here it is, the recipe they sold to Barcardi a few years ago. I tested the Havana Club that is now on the market in Cuba, and this one is superior. On the rocks, I like this drink."

— Khadijah (5/5)

No relation to genuine Cuban rum

"This has nothing to do with the Cuban Havana Club. If you want to savor a fine sipping rum, choose something else. At Tipxy, there are several options. This may be your guy if you need a cheap rum to combine with Coke, but anything that is mixed with Coke is usually good."

— Damien (2/5)

The actual Havana Club is Excellent aged rum.

"This rum has a flavor that I adore. It is silky and twice aged. ideal for sophisticated drinks. At this price, it is really worthwhile. Lovely fruity finish. It's not something I miss having at my bar for mixing."

— Gianna2 (5/5)

The best rum for the your bucks

"This is a wonderful purchase for less than $29 (750mL). There are traces of molasses and brown sugar on the first taste. There is barely any smokiness in the finish, which is pleasant. Excellent straight up or in cocktails. Most definitely worth a shot."

— Theo-Brie (4/5)

It's a Distinct Rum

"Since Cuban rum cannot be sent to the store where I purchase, this is the closest I can come to the real thing. Just waiting for a great occasion to crack this baby open."

— Noah (5/5)

Decent products for he price

"It's fairly smooth and sweet. reasonable sipping rum for the money. And although this isn't the traditional Cuban rum, as some have noted, it's probably the closest thing you can find."

— Fiona L. (4/5)

Not even close to the original

"I've experienced the genuine Cuban Havana Club Rum, and although the nose and flavor are quite different, they are still quite nice for the price."

— Carter4 (4/5)

Tipxy AI Overview

What people across the internet are saying
★ ★ ★ ☆ ☆ 3/5 AI Rating

Reviewers on Tastings rate Havana Club Anejo Classico 87/100, citing vanilla, brown sugar, and dried fruit on the nose. Drinkhacker and Distiller call the body a touch thin for sipping but a solid $22 mixing rum. Public verdict: dependable cocktail base, nothing more.
