Pineau des Charentes lives in the space between wine and Cognac: fresh grape must caught mid-fermentation, fortified with Hardy's own eau-de-vie, then rested at least five years to earn its "Vieux Pineau" name. From a Cognac house founded in 1863, this golden Blanc pours delicate notes of dried fruit, honey, and linden across a supple, rounded palate. Made from Ugni Blanc, Folle Blanche, and Colombard grapes. Serve it well-chilled as an aperitif, or alongside a fruit-forward dessert.
