Greenhook Ginsmiths Beach Plum Gin Liqueur comes from the Brooklyn distillery's Greenpoint facility, where whole beach plums—a tart, thin-fleshed fruit that grows wild along the Atlantic coast from Maryland to Maine—steep in their Signature American Dry Gin for seven months with a touch of turbinado sugar. It's Greenhook's regional answer to sloe gin: juniper, coriander, elderflower, and chamomile from the base gin play against the plums' bracing tartness. Wine Enthusiast scored it 91 points. Serve it in a gin fizz or French 75 for a fruit-forward twist.
