This single-estate tequila comes from Los Altos, Jalisco, where hand-harvested blue agave is slow-roasted in brick ovens, then double distilled in copper pots and bottled close to full strength (98 proof). The result is agave flavor turned up: cooked agave and citrus up front, black pepper and a buttery, mineral finish. Pour it neat over one big rock, or use it to give a margarita real backbone.
