Leyenda is Gran Centenario's rare Extra Añejo, built on a blend its founder Lázaro Gallardo first poured for his most honored guests over 150 years ago, and still made to that original recipe. Oak aging coaxes out apple, pear, quince, and raisin on the nose, giving way to a palate of sweet wood, maple, eucalyptus, clove, and thyme that stretches into a long, smooth finish. Bottled at 80 proof, it's built for slow sipping neat from a flute, not a mixing glass.
