George Dickel Column Still Leopold Bros Three Chamber is an American rye whisky blending Cascade Hollow's column-still rye with Leopold Bros' historic three-chamber-still rye, then charcoal-mellowed at George Dickel's Tullahoma, Tennessee distillery. The pairing revives a pre-Prohibition style, when saloon-goers cut heavy three-chamber rye with lighter column rye. Expect a floral, spicy nose of lavender and maple syrup opening into blackberry, caramel and citrus on the palate, with a long, honeyed cocoa finish. Best sipped neat to catch every layer.
