Most tequila brands chase age statements — Fuenteseca went the other way, bottling a blanco to prove terroir alone can carry a spirit. This single-orchard release comes from over-ripe Highland blue agave grown around 5,000 feet in Vista Hermosa's chalky, mineral-heavy soil, giving it a briny, stony edge under cooked agave, citrus peel, and warm baking spice. Rested (not barrel-aged) before bottling at 44.8% ABV. Pour it neat to taste the ground it grew in.
