Denmark isn't the first place you'd guess for vodka, but Frïs has been made there since 1989 at the Aalborg Distillery, one of Scandinavia's oldest. It's distilled four times from whole wheat grain, then run through a patented freeze-filtration process — chilled to sub-zero temps so fusel oils solidify and get physically removed, rather than heat-filtered like most vodkas. The result is clean and crisp, with soft wheat sweetness, citrus peel, and a whisper of vanilla. Pour it icy-cold, straight or in a simple vodka soda.
