French Selection J. de Villebois Sancerre Red is a 100% Pinot Noir from the Loire Valley's Sancerre appellation, grown across the region's three classic terroirs: flint-laced Silex, clay-rich Terres Blanches, and stony Caillottes. Grapes are hand-picked, cold-soaked before fermentation, and aged mostly in stainless steel with a small portion resting in oak, preserving Pinot Noir's natural finesse. Expect a red-fruit-driven nose of cherry and raspberry with a spicy edge, and a supple, silky-tannined palate. Pour with grilled red meat, game, or a cheese board.
