French Selection's Aurore De Dauzac is the second wine of Château Dauzac, a fifth-growth classified estate in Margaux, Bordeaux. Its fruit comes from a single east-facing plot of fine, sandy gravel soil that lets Cabernet Sauvignon shine alongside Merlot and Petit Verdot. Hand-harvested and aged in French oak, it pours brilliant ruby-red with red fruit and floral aromas, opening to a round, silky palate of crunchy black fruit. Pour it alongside roast poultry, red meat, game, or a sharp cheese board.
