Four Walls started as a joke between the guys behind It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia and turned into an actual whiskey: triple-distilled Irish grain and malt from Great Northern Distillery in County Louth, blended in Pittsburgh with Wigle's Monongahela-style Pennsylvania straight rye. The result splits the difference between traditions, rye spice and creamy vanilla up front, rich caramel, cherry, and gingerbread on the palate, finishing long and sweet. Pour it neat behind the bar, or let it anchor a whiskey sour.
