An excellent budget-friendly go-to bourbon!
"It's a great bourbon for easy drinking. Brown sugar, cherry, and a light spice are present in the body, while the nose is toffee and cherry. I've consumed three bottles (from different batches) and none of them have had a bite, however other reviewers have noted that some may have a tiny bite. You shouldn't worry, in my opinion."

Very Best Value for the Money!
"Many bourbons have a lovely, crisp single note, but this one has four terrific notes. Clean, smooth, and finished with complexity. My favorite whisky to sip is without a doubt this one. I've tasted every product Four Roses has to offer, and I think this is the best deal. When tasted side by side, Private Select is just marginally superior. The "money shot" is this."

My Preferred 50%
"This would be my choice if there was a category for the best single barrel or best 50%. So I suppose there is—in my world, which I just created. This beautiful specimen has to be sipped, swirled, and consumed in a Glencairn or a Stolzle stem with just a splash of cold, pure water. I can't believe I can get a bottle of bourbon this amazing for under $40. I'll stop talking now."

Ought to be your initial bourbon
"Simply put, "refined. " Excellent bourbon. Smooth and incredibly sweet on the nose. The finish is warm and protracted. Very well balanced and not excessively sweet. Excellent value for Bevmo members. I heartily advise it to everyone. This bourbon is exquisitely opened up with a tablespoon of water."

A True Keeper
"After tasting most of the "high shelf" bourbons available, Four Roses' offering has pleasantly pleased me. This is one of, if not the greatest bourbon yet, with a fruity scent, nice oak, and isn't excessively sweet. extraordinarily fluid. Bevmo had best keep a supply of this."

Visit for Manhattans.
"You can have this on the rocks, in a Manhattan, or in an Old Fashioned. Smooth with a sweet complexity that includes rye spice, corn sweetness, and a trace of malted barley. There are ten different recipes for this kind, so it always varies a little. I enjoy a wide variety of bourbons, but this one is"

Not limited to sipping
""The following drink is for the daring: Four Roses Single Barrel Bourbon, 2 ounces Carpano Antica vermouth, 1 ounce Bitters from Angostura, a dash or two Bartenders typically use Maker's Mark & Martini Rosso since they're inexpensive, but this tiny creation was possibly the nicest cocktail I've ever tasted, a Manhattan with premium ingredients. A Genuinely Sweet and Tasty Bourbon!
"I had to try after reading the hoopla. I wasn't in the least way let down. I preferred to sip it neat, and I was quite delighted with this bourbon. Both the nose and the palate are sweet. With its upfront sweet oaky maple syrup flavors and the smooth, 100 percent vanilla custard finish, it is meltingly delectable. I haven't tried the other Four Roses products, but this bourbon is excellent for sipping, and after trying it, I won't feel complete without having a bottle of it on hand to enjoy to the fullest. If you appreciate bourbon as much as I do, I strongly advise you to try this one if you haven't already. For excellent bourbon, this is a terrific price!"

A Quality Kentucky-Style Single Barrel Bourbon.
"At a fair price, a really good performer. The fruity nose is consistent throughout the entire drink, which is a major feat given that it's also 100 proof and matches the description perfectly (not 80). Since it's more than just "okay," in my opinion, I would give it 3. 5 stars."

Be the only bourbon you ever drink.
"One of the top three or four small batch bourbons I've tried is this 4 Roses Single barrel. When you first open the bottle, the flavor is in the aroma, and as you drink it, it lingers on your palate. Despite having such a rich flavor, it is robust and full-bodied. As the cube melts, the flavors definitely seem to get more pronounced. For this one, I've given up my Angel's Envy and several other small batch bourbons. I simply adore it!"
