Nicaraguan rum from Chichigalpa, aged twelve years in ex-bourbon barrels at the base of an active volcano. Flor de Caña bottles it with no additives and no added sugar, so the amber colour and the vanilla, honey and baked-apple weight are what the wood and the time put there. Bottled at 80 proof.
