Here's a rum that was only supposed to stick around for one birthday. Flor de Caña bottled this 20-year Nicaraguan expression in 2020 to mark 130 years of family distilling, then kept it in the lineup when people wouldn't let it go. Aged in American white oak near an active volcano and bottled at 90 proof, it pours intense copper with nutmeg, hazelnut and dark chocolate giving way to caramel, toasted nuts and vanilla. Pour it neat in a snifter and sip slowly.
