Vertigo Rosso comes out of Livio Felluga's Friuli-Venezia Giulia estate, where Merlot and Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso lay down structure and Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc bring polish. Fermentation happens on the skins in temperature-controlled steel, then the wine splits time between steel and small French oak barrels before further aging in the cellar. Expect cherry-red color, blueberry and wild strawberry aromatics, and a silky, rosehip-and-berry finish. Pour it alongside red meats or aged cheese for a wine that rewards a real meal.
