Fable Whisky tells a story with every bottle, and Chapter Nine: Storm hands the pen to Speyside's Auchroisk distillery. Distilled in 2009 and rested twelve years in a single hogshead, it was bottled at a punchy 57.9% with no chill-filtration and nothing added for color. Expect a nutty, doughy nose with honey and marzipan, then bright orange, tangerine, and lemon over barley sugar and dried herbs. A splash of water opens it up. Pour it slow and let the tale unfold.
