Here's a fun bit of geography in a glass: Emperador is a Philippine brandy giant, but its Solera Reservada starts with Spanish grapes—Airén, Palomino and Pedro Ximénez—distilled abroad before aging the solera way, blending across stacked oak casks for consistency. The result pours medium amber with aromas of caramelized nuts, honey butter, and mocha.
