Overview

More Info

We slowly age our Añejo tequila in American oak ex-bourbon barrels for two to three years. This aging process imparts a stronger influence of oak but still allows the spirit to maintain the complexion of agave.

This is a favorite of mine

"This is one of my favorite tequilas; it is smooth, has a distinct agave flavor, and is almost as wonderful as El Tesoro Paradiso at a much lesser price. Great tequila is expensive, and this one is priced fairly If you enjoy this, try Don Julio Anejo, and if you enjoy Paradiso, try Milagro Anejo Select Barrel Reserve."

Tequila that is clear, velvety, and superbly balanced. Sipper!

"An excellent substitute for more well-known bottles in the same price range. This tequila has a clear/clean taste and is suitable for neat sipping. Smooth without any burn, but sophisticated enough to satisfy a tequila drinker. When you want to enjoy a higher-quality tequila without going broke, this is a great "no brainer" choice. For what it gives, this tequila is quite cheap!Try this finely prepared tequila the next time you're in the mood for your beloved Casamigos or Patron. You won't return to the pricey, heavily sweetened mainstream variety."

Tequila's GOAT when it comes to value

"I tried this since I had read that it was highly regarded as outstanding; I was definitely impressed. Later, I tried many different brands, but this remains the best tequila in my opinion to this day. genuine flavor. Although there are numerous well-known brands that can compete, this tequila is undoubtedly exceptional. However, as with everything else, everyone has their own preferences. I believe it the market's best, subtle Gem."

An amazing things just high price

"One of the very best tequilas I've ever experienced in terms of flavor. If I used it to make a margarita, I feel like it would be a waste. It's too wealthy. Considering the cost, though, I may only have one bottle, so I'm enjoying every last drop. Excellent tequila."

Rasmussen (4/5)

Outstanding flavor. A high cost.

"El Tesoro Tequila Anejo is made from blue agave that is cultivated on the estate and matured in oak barrels. The final product shows the integrity of the process. There are no tricks or coloring agents present. Neither a strong aroma nor flavor. It's like drinking liquid gold to consume this. Blue agave grown on the estate and aged in oak barrels is used to create El Tesoro Tequila Anejo. The finished product demonstrates the accuracy of the procedure. No gimmicks or coloring substances are used. Neither a powerful flavor nor scent. Consuming this is like gulping liquid gold."

An outstanding one! An enduring favorite

"Among the best! And a family heirloom in my home. Much superior to the mini you may be familiar with. You just received a new bottle of this one, which was the same one that had been used for many years. It was great and had a 2017 date on it. I have nothing but praise for this company."

Gilbert (5/5)

This is completely boss.

"This is in charge! The greatest I've ever drink, in fact. I enjoy sipping on this tequila. Although I haven't tried all of them, I've certainly had a lot of them! It's remarkable when shared, and this is my winner!"

Thomas W. (5/5)

Excellent all around and can compete with the big boys!

"You won't be dissatisfied. Smooth as possible with a hint of vanilla. I adored the product I received for my birthday. I can't wait to return to this after I finish my 1942 bottle from Christmas!"

Riggs (5/5)

The pure worth of El Tesoro Anejo

"Smooth and without an unpleasant aftertaste. At this pricing point, excellent quality. Instead of paying for hype, you are receiving value."
