El Jolgorio's Mexicano comes from wild maguey (Agave rhodacantha) harvested after roughly a decade in the hills of Oaxaca, then coaxed into spirit by mezcalero Valentín Cortés in Santiago Matatlán. Pit-roasted, tahona-crushed, open-fermented, and twice-distilled the old way, it pours at 47% with roasted agave, maple, gentle smoke, citrus, and a peppery snap. Sip it neat and slow at room temperature. Every bottle is hand-marked with its batch details.
