El Gran Legado de Vida comes from Cascahuín, a century-old Jalisco distillery, using mature agaves grown in Michoacán that are steam-cooked in stone ovens for three days before a double distillation through stainless and copper alembic stills. Rested at least six months in American oak, ex-bourbon barrels, it settles into sweet cooked agave, caramel, and light floral, fruity notes with a round, silky finish. Additive-free and built without an inherited recipe — just patience. Sip it neat, or over a single big rock to open the caramel.
