El Cristiano Extra Añejo Tequila comes from the Jalisco Highlands, where third-generation maestro tequileros hand-select mature blue Weber agave for this expression, then rest it in oak for eight years. El Cristiano ferments with a proprietary yeast strain and makes every batch additive-free, so the character in the glass is agave-driven, not engineered. Expect caramel and vanilla on the nose, a full-bodied palate of dried fruit and chocolate with a touch of spice, and a long, warm finish. Sip it neat in a snifter after dinner, alongside dark chocolate or a short list of neat whiskey drinkers you're trying to convert.
