Yuzu is that hard-to-pin-down Japanese citrus somewhere between mandarin and Meyer lemon, and East Imperial built a whole tonic around it. Bottled in New Zealand with local spring water, cane sugar, and quinine from Java cinchona bark, it leads with bright, zesty citrus before easing into a clean, understated bitterness that lingers. Non-alcoholic on its own. Pour it over a citrus-forward gin for a gin and tonic with real personality, or use it to lift almost any highball. Sip Something New.
Tasting notes
TASTING NOTES
Robust citrus bomb upfront with the yuzu zest playing hero alongside the bitterness of quinine. The finish is somewhat sherbet with a moreish floral and sweet note.
