"Dos Primos" means "two cousins" — the story behind this reposado is exactly that: country singer Thomas Rhett and his cousin Jeff Worn teamed up with Jalisco's Destiladora Gonzalez Lux. Hand-harvested agave from Los Altos and the valley floor gets double-distilled, then rests six months in ex-bourbon barrels, picking up vanilla and baking spice alongside the agave-forward nose. Expect a citrusy, herbal palate with a long spiced finish — good sipped slow or built into a simple margarita. Double Gold at the SIP Awards, two years running.
