Don Camilo Extra Añejo Tequila comes from Fábrica de Tequilas Finos in Jalisco, Mexico, at the foot of the Volcán de Tequila. Made from organic blue agave and shaped by a slow cold-distillation process, this cask-strength expression rests a minimum of eight years in Kentucky bourbon oak casks under controlled humidity — a limited run of fewer than 100 barrels. Expect a dark amber-brown pour with vanilla and oak up front, layers of exotic fruit and chocolate on the palate, and a long, gentle finish. Serve neat in a snifter to let the barrel character unfold, or alongside dark chocolate.
