DAOU's Discovery Rosé is mostly Grenache Noir (95%) with a splash of Sauvignon Blanc, grown on limestone soils in Paso Robles' Adelaida hills, where the winemaker follows the Méthode Provençale, the same playbook behind southern France's palest pinks. Expect fresh peach, nectarine and crushed rose petals up front, then a silky, crisp palate of melon, tangerine and sweet cherry. Wine Enthusiast gave it 91 points. Pour it well-chilled for warm afternoons and a table full of friends.
