Winemaker Tyson Crowley has spent more than two decades building relationships with Oregon's small, sustainably farmed vineyards, and this Chardonnay leans on one of them: Four Winds, a dry-farmed, own-rooted site on shallow volcanic soil in the Coast Range foothills near McMinnville. Wente and Draper clone fruit is whole-cluster pressed, fermented with native yeast in barrel, aged on the lees, then finished in stainless steel — yielding green apple, lemon curd, and pear framed by salinity and bright acidity.
