Overview

Brandy predates bourbon in America, and Copper & Kings makes the case for it right in the heart of Louisville. California grapes are copper pot-distilled low and slow, then matured solera-style, mostly in used Kentucky bourbon barrels with a little new medium-char American oak. It pours at 90 proof, with caramel, honey, dried fruit, and a whisper of tobacco and cherry wood. Sip it neat the way you would a fine whiskey, or let it anchor a brandy Old Fashioned.

Tipxy AI Overview

What people across the internet are saying
★ ★ ★ ★ ☆ 4/5 AI Rating

Copper and Kings has built a devoted following for its unconventional approach to American brandy, distilling in copper pot stills and aging in Kentucky bourbon barrels. Fans praise the rich fruit-forward character and bold, unfiltered profile that sets it apart from traditional European brandies. It consistently earns recognition from spirits critics as one of the most exciting domestic brandies on the market.
