Te Wāhi means "the place" in te reo Māori, and it draws on two contrasting vineyards — rocky, glacial Northburn and the silty ancient lakebed of Calvert. Mostly de-stemmed with some whole-bunch fermentation, wild malolactic, then a year-plus in French oak. Expect dark berry fruit, warm spice, and forest-floor depth over firm tannins.
