Cherut Winery crafts its Single Sweet Cabernet Sauvignon from Bordeaux-style vines grown at the foot of Mt. Hermon, 1,100 meters up, and across Israel's Upper Galilee. The Cabernet is fermented sweet, then aged in French and American oak, landing in the glass a deep purple-black with a nose of dark black fruit, roasted coffee, nutmeg, and clove. On the palate, ripe fruit and rich sweetness meet soft, silky tannins and bright acidity for a smooth, lingering finish. Pour it after dinner alongside dark chocolate or a fruit tart.
