Overview

Château Labégorce is a Margaux estate in Bordeaux, France, sited directly beside Château Margaux on gravel-and-clay soils that have been under vine since the 14th century. This Bordeaux red blend leans on Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, with small portions of Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc, fermented in tank before aging roughly 12-15 months in French oak. Expect cedar, dark cherry, and violet aromatics leading into a supple, polished palate with fine-grained tannins. Pour it alongside roasted lamb or aged Gouda to let the fruit and oak unfold.
